Delhi Drishti Abhiyanकॉर्नियल अंधत्व मुक्त दिल्ली – Vision For All

Free eye check-ups for Delhi's underserved neighbourhoods — and a citywide movement for eye donation, so that no one stays blind for want of a cornea.

About Delhi Drishti

Our campaign line holds two promises: one about eye donation, the other about eye care. We work for both, in Delhi's neighbourhoods.

दृष्टिdrishti (n.) — sight; vision; a way of seeing.

More about us
If the smallest lines look blurry, it may be time for a check-up. Illustration only — not a real eye test.

Our Purpose

  • कॉर्नियल अंधत्व मुक्त दिल्लीA Delhi free of corneal blindness

The cornea is the clear window at the front of the eye. When injury or infection clouds it, a person loses their sight — but a cornea donated after death can bring it back. We are working for a Delhi where no one stays blind for want of a donated cornea.

    • Inspire eye-donation pledges
    • Prepare families to act in time
    • Help every donation reach the eye bank in time
  • Vision For AllSight for everyone

Many people live with poor eyesight that a simple check-up could catch. We bring free eye check-ups, vision testing and awareness to the neighbourhoods themselves — so no one goes without care because it was out of reach.

    • Free eye check-up camps
    • Early screening and testing
    • Guidance to further care

Eye Donation

आपकी अंतिम भेंट, किसी की नई सुबह

Your last gift — someone's new morning.

One decision, made today, can give someone their sight after you are gone.

  • संवेदनशील दिल्ली
  • स्वस्थ समाज
  • उज्ज्वल भविष्य
  • 2 lakh+people can regain their sight through corneal donation

  • 4–6people can receive sight from one person's eye donation

  • Any ageage, spectacles or common illnesses are no barrier

What is eye donation?

After death, a trained medical team collects the eyes. The cornea — the clear window at the front of the eye — is then given to someone whose sight was lost to a damaged cornea.

Why donate?

  • One person's eye donation can give sight to 4–6 people.
  • It is a simple, safe and noble human contribution.
  • It brings light, independence and new hope to someone who cannot see.

How it works From pledge to service

  1. Take the eye-donation pledge in your lifetime.
  2. Tell your family about your wish.
  3. After death, the family informs us at once.
  4. A medical team contacts them and collects the eyes.
  5. After testing, the cornea is transplanted into someone who needs it.

Support Our Cause

Camps happen because people give their time, money, skills and spaces. About ₹500 lets one more person be cared for at a free eye camp.
